NUX6 - UX & Design Conference
Brought to you by NUX and McrDig
NUX6 is an all-day event in Manchester focussed on how an understanding of people can help you define, design, and build better experiences, on the web and beyond. With international speakers from some of the biggest digital brands, the day will provide a wealth of practical experience you can apply right away.
The event is organised by Northern User Experience (NUX) in conjunction with Manchester Digital. NUX is an informal, volunteer-run community for people interested in usability, HCI, information design and all aspects of the user experience in the North of England. Our membership is as diverse as the field itself, with developers, designers, academics, usability specialists, accessibility experts and technical authors.
NUX is a not-for-profit group of people based in Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle and Liverpool. We are doing this because we love our industry. This event would not have been made possible without the help of our very kind and very wonderful sponsors.
If you’d like to sponsor NUX6 please drop us an email: email@example.com.

Established in a garage in Camden (London) in 1999, we were the first pure play digital recruiter in the UK and we’ve come a long way. Our people recruit across the full digital lifecycle, we’re large enough to service a global PLC but small enough to be agile and deliver to start-ups.
The network of our 70 consultants extends across the UK, New York, Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, the people we engage with are those that you want to work with.
We operate a specialist model of recruitment where each consultant goes to conferences, meetups and training for type of people they recruit. This means that our consultants are experts in their community and know how to question and accurately match the right person with a great employer in that space.
Our consultants recruit UX/UI, Creative, Development, Product, Project Management, Digital Marketing, eCommerce, Content, Strategy, Web Analytics and Client Services – across permanent, contract & freelance positions.
In all of our offices you’ll find an Anthony Burrill print “work hard and be nice to people”. They’re words we live by. It’s what we do…

At Sky Betting & Gaming we don’t have Teams we have Tribes. Each Tribe is made up of small, agile and autonomous squads who work collaboratively with a shared purpose. So whether you join our Bet Tribe, Early Careers Tribe or anything in between, you will work with a group of people with raw energy, natural talent, and the kind of spirit that helps us think big, act bold, and change the game. It all means that we’ve created the kind of workplace that wins awards such as a place on the prestigious list of Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For.

We care about diversity of conferences and events because we want them to be better for everyone. All too often we see conference and event lineups full of the same or similar people, we don’t want that anymore. We want diversity. Diversity refers to a wide range of visible and non-visible characteristics; it’s about valuing variety, welcoming a range of backgrounds and opinions and embracing the benefits that differences bring. We believe that a diverse set of people on stage and in audiences will improve events and will ultimately change the industries they represent for the better.
